Huskers Preseason Press Conference

Nebraska Head Coach Mark Manning and All-Americans Antrell Taylor and Brock Hardy met with the media Wednesday morning, addressing the upcoming 2025-26 wrestling season. 

Manning discussed his excitement towards the first home dual. 

“Nov. 7 is going to be amazing. We’re wrestling a good team (Army). They have seven out of their ten starters who are NCAA qualifiers, so you’re not wrestling chopped liver here. You got a good team coming here, that's the first home dual. We're going to unveil two national champions, Antrell Taylor and Ridge Lovett, banners coming down. We have Bill Scherr, Jim Scherr, Tony Purler, Jason Powell and Jordan Burroughs all coming back.” 

With six All-Americans returning to the mat, NU is set to host Army on Friday, Nov. 7 at 6 p.m. (CT) in their home opener.
