The Nebraska men’s tennis team released its 2023 fall schedule on Tuesday, as the Huskers will start play on September 22 in Milwaukee, Wis.
The team is kicking off its first season with interim head coach Peter Kobelt and assistant coach Ray Sarmiento at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic. NU will also be travelling to Oklahoma, California and Madison, Wis., this fall.
Nebraska has seven returning letterwinners, including Rudi Christiansen, Roni Hietaranta, Lars Johann, Leo Linquet, Shunya Maruyama, Calvin Mueller and Nic Wiedenhorn. NU welcomes three newcomers, transfers Anton Shepp and Nikolay Sysoev, and freshman Colson Wells, for the 2023-24 season.
