Huskers Announce December Signing Class

The Nebraska football team added 42 student-athletes to its 2020 roster during the December early signing period, including 23 scholarship signees and 19 walk-ons. More future Huskers could be added during the next signing period that runs from Feb. 5 to April 1, 2020.

The scholarship class consisted of 15 high school student-athletes and five junior-college transfers. The class hails from 14 different states, including seven signees from Florida. Multiple recruits also signed from Texas, Alabama and Kansas. The class combined to win 13 state titles during their prep careers.

19 of the 22 walk-ons are from the state of Nebraska, with the other three walk-ons coming from Iowa, Michigan and Germany. Frankfurt, Germany native Nouredin Nouili was an exchange student at Norris High School and after one season at Colorado State, where he started seven games as a true freshman in 2019, he has transferred to Nebraska.
