Huskers Eye Double-Digit Wins in Duals

No. 14 Nebraska travels to Stanford to close out the dual season this Friday, as the Cornhuskers look to reach the 10-win mark in duals for the eighth consecutive season and the 16th time in 18 seasons under Head Coach Mark Manning.

Friday night’s dual at Stanford is set to begin at 9 p.m. (CT)/7 p.m. (PT). It will be televised on Pac-12 Bay Area, with a live stream available at Pac-12.com with a cable subscription to Pac-12 Network.

Nebraska enters Friday with a record of 9-4 on the season after taking down No. 20 Wisconsin by a score of 24-10 last Friday, as the Huskers closed the Big Ten schedule with a 7-2 record.

Six Huskers are ranked in this week’s InterMat rankings, led by seventh-ranked Taylor Venz at 184 pounds. Colton McCrystal and Isaiah White join him in the top-10 at their respective weight classes, as McCrystal is ninth at 149, while White is 10th at 165. Tyler Berger is is 11th at 157, while Chad Red Jr. is 13th at 141 and Jason Renteria is 19th at 133.

Stanford is 7-4 on the season and 3-1 in the Pac-12 after defeating Oregon State by a score of 21-15 last Saturday. Stanford is led by 10th-year head coach Jason Borrelli, and two Cardinal wrestlers are ranked in this week’s InterMat poll.

Nebraska defeated No. 20 Wisconsin by a score of 24-10. David Jensen won by pin, while six Huskers won decisions as NU won seven of the 10 matches.
