Columbia, Mo.- Nicole Schwery finished second in the three-meter dive (314.00), Anna Filipcic finished third in the three-meter dive (306.95), the Nebraska 200-yard freestyle relay team took third and the Huskers finished the opening day of the Mizzou Invitational in third-place. Nebraska (176) trails Missouri (397) and Florida International (182).
In the evening session's first event, Nebraska placed third in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:32.48. The team was led by Alex Bilunas, Bria Deveaux, Erin Oeltjen and Taryn Collura.
The session's second event saw Katt Sickle race to an eighth-place finish posting a time of 4:53.47 in the 500-yard freestyle. Cassandra Brassard earned a 20th-place finish with a time of 5:00.22.

In the 100-yard butterfly, Devaux placed seventh racing to a time of 54.97. Oeltjen, Natalie Morris, Amanda Moran and Bilunas all qualified for the finals, finishing 11th, 15th, 25th and 32nd respectively for the Huskers.

Sam Hardewig and Julia Roller finished 13th and 14th in the 200-yard individual medley posting times of 2:04.00 and 2:04.01. Jordan Ehly and Kelly Dunn finished shorty behind Roller and Hardewig placing 18th and 21st.

One of Nebraska's top individual finishes came from Collura in the 50-yard freestyle. Collura raced to a time of 22.97 earning a fourth-place finish. Bilunas followed shortly behind placing seventh with a time of 23.30.

In Nebraska's final individual event, Schwery and Filipcic finished second and third in the three-meter dive. Schwery earned her runner-up finish with a score of 314.00 while Filipcic posted a score of 306.95.

The Huskers concluded the day with a 10th-place finish in the 400-yard medley relay. The team of Land, Ehly, Deveaux and Collura raced to a time of 3:46.73.
