Lincoln - A total of 10 Nebraska volleyball players were honored Tuesday with selections to the 2010 Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll.
The list includes middle blocker Jordan Wilberger, who has been named to the honor roll all six semesters at Nebraska. Right-side hitter Linsdey Licht and libero Kayla Banwarth are both honored for the third time in their careers while setter Brigette Root also makes her fourth appearance on the honor roll at Nebraska.
Other 2010 Huskers honorees include Gina Mancuso, Allison McNeal, Megan Pendergast, Hayley Thramer and newcomers Morgan Broekhuis and Lauren Cook, who both made the list in their first semester at Nebraska.
In addition, five former Huskers were honored for their academic efforts, including Academic All-Americans Amanda Gates and Kori Cooper, as well as Rachel Schwartz, Kaitlynn James and Jessica Yanz, as 14 current or former Huskers were recognized for their classroom achievements.
