Nebraska Baseball Gameday: April 24

Waco, Texas -- The Nebraska baseball team looks to bounce back this afternoon, as the Huskers take on the Baylor Bears this afternoon. First pitch is at 3 p.m. and the game will be on the Husker Sports Network and on Huskers.com.

Freshman Tyler Niederklein makes his first Big 12 start this afternoon, as he is 2-0 with a 1.59 ERA in seven appearances. The Huskers dropped the series opener, 7-6, last night as Baylor scored two runs in the bottom of the eighth to overcome a 6-5 deficit. Adam Bailey belted his Big 12-leading 15th homer and drove in three runs, while Cody Asche had two RBIs in the loss.
