Huskers Stay Ranked at No. 12

Lincoln - The Nebraska women's gymnastics team stayed ranked at No. 12 in the latest GymInfo poll released Monday after defeating Penn State 196.20-195.575 last Saturday. The poll, which is calculated by regional qualifying score, also ranks NU third in the South Central region and second in the Big 12 Conference. In addition, the Huskers are tied at sixth nationally in team vault scoring (49.265), 17th on bars (49.015), 14th on beam (48.955) and tied for tenth on floor (49.18).

Individually, junior Erin Davis is tied at second in the vault rankings (9.935). Sophomore Lora Evenstad comes in tied at 16th on floor (9.855), and senior Kathryn Howard is tied for 22nd on beam (9.855) The Huskers host the 2010 Big 12 Championships at the Devaney Center on Saturday, March 27 at 2 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at Huskers.com or by calling 800-8BIGRED.
