Lincoln - The Nebraska women's gymnastics team placed 10 gymnasts among 359 Husker student-athletes honored as members of the Big 12 Commissioner's Fall Honor Roll, the conference office announced. The honor roll recognizes student-athletes with a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher during the previous semester, and within Nebraska's 359 selections, 38 earned perfect 4.0 GPAs.
Former Husker Tricia Woo led the impressive contingent of women's gymnasts on the list, as she was included for the fifth time in her career. Senior Kathryn Howard also earned her fifth honor, while senior Kylie Stone received the third such accolade of her career. Junior Maria Scaffidi was honored for the fourth time of her career, while junior Brittnee Habbib and sophomores Lora Evenstad and Kristin Fyffe were repeat selections, all earning their second honor roll nods. Additionally, junior Maddie Steinauer and freshmen Hannah Bower and Janelle Giblin were also honored.
