Ten Huskers Earn Spots on Big 12 Honor Roll

The Nebraska women's tennis team placed 10 current and former Huskers on the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll, as announced by the conference office. The honor roll recognizes student-athletes who achieved at 3.0 or better grade-point-average during the fall semester.

Mary Weatherholt and Stefanie Weinstein led the way for the Huskers with perfect 4.0 GPAs for the semester. It was Weatherholt's third nomination in as many semesters at Nebraska, and her first with a 4.0 GPA.

Senior Wiveca Swarting was also named to the honor roll, the sixth time in her career that she has earned the academic honor. Also earning spots on the honor roll were sophomores Madeleine Geibert and Jennifer Holmberg, freshmen Chelsea Finnegan and Patricia Veresova, and former Huskers Marianne Cicmanec, Stephanie Evans and Maria ring.
