Huskers Win Fifth Straight at UTEP

The Nebraska rifle team won its fifth straight match with a 4,589-4,563 victory at UTEP on Saturday in El Paso, Texas.

Ryann McGough led the Huskers (6-1) with a combined 1,154 score. McGough shot a 569 in smallbore to lead the team. Christine Costello added a 568 and Amanda Jeffries scored 567.

In air rifle, Janine Dutton scored a 587 to spark the Huskers in the victory. McGough contributed a 585 and Joyce Kim shot 582.

The Huskers travel back to Texas next Saturday for a match against TCU.
