Six Nebraska rifle athletes were named to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the spring semester, while senior Stacy Underwood and junior Katie Harrington were among 41 Nebraska student-athletes to boast perfect 4.0 grade-point averages.
Juniors Harrington (elementary education), Kim Chrostowski (history) and Kirsten Weiss (international studies) each earned their sixth straight appearances on the list. Harrington, Chrostowski and Weiss, who make up Nebraska’s 2004-05 freshman class, have each been named to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll in every semester while at Nebraska.
Kristina Fehlings, a recent graduate in finance, earned a spot on the honor roll for the fifth time, while fellow graduate Underwood (nutrition, fitness and health promotion) earned her fourth spot on the team.
Freshman Amanda Jeffries, undeclared, earned the prestigious honors for the second time in her career.
The Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who earned a 3.0 GPA or higher during the previous semester. The rifle athletes were among 255 Nebraska student-athletes named to the fall honor roll.
