Four Huskers Earn Spots on Honor Roll

The Nebraska bowling team placed four athletes on the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for their academic achievements during the 2007 spring semester.  Emma Butchard, Sarah Koch, Stephanie McGinnis and Kalyn Washburn were among 255 Nebraska student-athletes to earn the prestigious honor.

Redshirt freshman Washburn, an English major, earned her third selection to the honor roll, while redshirt freshmen Koch (undeclared) and McGinnis (business administration) each made their second appearances on the list.

Junior Butchard (psychology) received the distinction for the first time.

The honor roll features student-athletes who achieved a 3.0 or higher grade-point average during the 2007 spring semester.  Fourty-six Nebraska athletes earned a perfect 4.0 GPA.
