Huskers Place Nine on Honor Roll

Nine Husker softball players were among 249 Nebraska student-athletes named to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the Spring 2006 semester.

 

The Huskers were well represented by repeat selections, as all nine student-athletes had earned at least two previous appearances on the list. KoKo Tacha (eight selections), Jaime Borg (six), Lizzy Aumua (four), Molly Hill (two) and Meghan Mullin (two) were each honored and have now been named to the honor roll in every semester they have been enrolled at Nebraska.

 

Trisha Tannahill also earned her seventh accolade in eight semesters, while Jessica Yoachim appeared on the honor roll for the sixth time. Tannahill and Yoachim, along with Aumua, each earned their degrees in May of 2006, along with former Huskers Kira Boerkircher and Anne Steffan, who also earned spots on the list.

 

To be eligible for the honor roll, student-athletes must have maintained a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
