Five Nebraska wrestlers were named to the Big 12 honor roll for the fall semester in 2005, the conference announced earlier this week.
The list was led by senior management major David Ingalls, a 165-pound wrestler from Hazel, S.D.
Redshirt freshmen Casey Roberts and Robert Sanders and true freshmen Austin Baier and Brady LaMar joined Ingalls on the list. Roberts is a pre-architecture major from Lincoln, Neb., while Sanders is a nutrition, fitness and health promotion major from Blanding, Utah. Baier is a business administration major from Greenfield, Iowa, and LaMar is a finance major from Silver Lake, Kan.
Overall, Nebraska had 235 student-athletes named to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll during the fall semester. The fourth-ranked Nebraska wrestling team is back in action on Friday at 7 p.m. against 11th-ranked Oklahoma at the NU Coliseum in a dual that will be televised live on NET-1 and on a tape-delay basis on CSTV.
