Lincoln - All eight members of the Nebraska rifle team earned a place on the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll for their academic achievements in the 2005 Spring Semester.
Freshman Katherine Harrington led the accomplished group by producing a perfect 4.0 grade-point average. Senior Melissa Downsbrough, junior Misty Chanek, sophomore Kristina Fehlings and freshmen Kimberly Chrostowski, Andrea Franzen, Eva Richert and Kirsten Weiss joined Harrington on the list with grade-point averages of 3.0 or better.
The Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who earned a 3.0 GPA or higher during the previous semester. Overall, Nebraska had 274 student-athletes named to the spring honor roll, including 37 who produced perfect 4.0 grade-point averages during the spring semester.
