Six Huskers Capture Academic Honors

Lincoln --- The Nebraska women's tennis team had six players earn academic recognition as they were selected to the 2004 Big 12 Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll.

Three of the six student-athletes will return next year, including Jennifer Cremieux, Gitte Osterman and Milena Schulz-Gartner. Also named to the spring honor roll were Leslie Harvey, Rebecca Harvey and Anna Oehme, who completed their eligibility during the spring 2004 campaign.

The Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who earned a 3.0 grade-point average or higher during the previous semester. Overall, Nebraska had 263 student-athletes named to the spring honor roll, including 33 who produced perfect 4.0 GPAs during the spring semester.
