Cherry, an elementary education from Lincoln, Neb., and Gehring, a sophomore horticulture major from Aberdeen, S.D., both enjoyed perfect semesters in the classroom.

Senior captain Stephanie Schaefer, an exercise science major from Columbus, Neb., also produced a strong semester in the classroom, while juniors Merynn Ito (Aiea, Hawaii) and Stephanie Ruiz (Edmond, Okla.) also earned spots on the honor roll.

Sophomores Jackie Beste (Sauk Centre, Minn.) and Sara Sackett (Cambridge, Neb.) also earned mention on the honor roll along with all five of Nebraska’s freshmen (Andrea Dunagan, Heather Gutschow, Christine McArdle, Madison Schroeder and Allison Stewart).
