College Station, Texas--The Nebraska women's tennis team was knocked out of the 1999 Big 12 Tennis Championships by No. 1-seeded Texas at the Texas A&M Varsity Tennis Courts Friday evening. The Longhorns, who are ranked seventh in the nation, took five quick singles points from NU to advance to the semifinals tomorrow against Baylor, the No. 5 seed, at 5 p.m.
The Huskers finish the regular season with a 17-9 record, their third consecutive winning season under Head Coach Scott Jacobson.
