Alex Harris

Alex Harris returned to Nebraska as the Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Fan Experience in September of 2021. Harris previously served as assistant director of marketing and fan experience at Nebraska from August of 2017 to September of 2019. In July 2025, Harris was promoted to Associate AD of Marketing and Fan Experience.

Harris also serves as the Primary Sport Administrator for the Husker Men’s Golf program.

Harris has previous experience working in the marketing departments at Kansas State, TCU, West Virginia, and Oklahoma

Harris is originally from Abilene, Kan., and earned a bachelor's degree in business marketing from Kansas State as well as a master's degree in educational leadership from TCU. 

Harris and his wife Karina, have a daughter, Kenlee, a son, Kade, and a dog, Griffey.
