A two-time All-American at Central Michigan, Jason Mester has been Nebraska's strength and conditioning coach for four seasons.
Mester served as an assistant coach at Central Michigan in 2004-05, helping the Chippewas to a 12th-place finish at the NCAA Championships. That coaching experience came one year after Mester closed a career that saw him win three Mid-American Conference championships. At the time of his graduation, Mester ranked third all-time on Central Michigan's charts with an .815 career-winning percentage.
Mester graduated from Central Michigan with a degree in sports studies in the spring of 2004.
