Malcolm McGruder Season 2006-07

Career Notes
2007-Wrestling at 141 pounds, Malcolm McGruder went 1-4 in open competition for the Huskers during the 2006-07 season. He was part of an NU squad that finished 16th as a team at the 2007 NCAA Championships.

Before Nebraska-McGruder placed in the top three in his final two years of high school at Omaha Creighton Prep under Coach John Hiffernan. McGruder finished as the state runner-up at 140 pounds with a 34-5 record in his senior season of 2006. McGruder also finished third at 130 pounds as a junior.

Personal-The son of Todd and Amanda McGruder, Malcolm was born on July 3, 1988 in Omaha, Neb. He has one sister, Makalia (16), and one brother, Matthew (11). Malcolm did not declare at major at Nebraska.
