2002-Jimenez was 0-6 at 165 pounds wrestling in open tournaments during the 2001-02 season.

Before Nebraska-Jimenez finished his prep career at Green Valley High School with an 80-20 record. Jimenez took second place at state as a sophomore, and third as a junior and senior, while wrestling for Coach Jimmy May. Before attending Nebraska, Jimenez was enrolled at Clark County Community College.

Personal-The son of Jose Jimenez and Cindy Meyers, Brandon was born on March 30, 1980. Brandon has one brother, Zac. Jimenez is a sociology major.
