2022-23 (Junior)
Reagan Hinze posted NCAA Zone-qualifying scores and top finishes in both the one- and three-meter dive during the first half of her junior campaign. At the Iowa State dual, Hinze scored a 272.48 to win the one-meter and qualify for Zones, while finishing as runner-up in the three-meter with a 267.82. The next day, Hinze produced two more top-five finishes in the double-dual with Minnesota and South Dakota, finishing fourth in the one-meter (256.30) and fifth in the three-meter (277.30).

At Kansas, Hinze scored a 285.23 in the three-meter to qualify for Zones and take third in the dual. She added a runner-up finish in the one-meter (238.28) against the Jayhawks. The intrastate dual with Omaha was marked by a one-meter victory and a three-meter runner-up finish for Hinze.

The mid-season Hawkeye Invitational brought Hinze's career-best three-meter dive as she finished fourth with a 301.10. She added a pair of runner-up finishes at the Illinois dual. At the Big Ten Championships, Hinze placed 33rd in the one-meter (219.60) and the three-meter (236.55). Hinze took her second trip to the Zone Championships to wrap up the season. On the one-meter, Hinze posted a 216.70 to finish 38th, while scoring a 242.00 on the three-meter to place 41st.

2021-22 (Sophomore)
Hinze improved upon her previous career-best dives in all three of her events, while also making her first appearance at the NCAA Zone Diving Championships during her sophomore season. At the Big Ten Championships, Hinze finished 18th in the three meter (284.65), 24th in the one meter (249.80) and 31st in the platform (198.75).

She began her season at the South Dakota State dual, placing third in the one-meter and three-meter diving events. The Iowa dual was highlighted by Hinze diving a zone-qualifying 271.20 in the one-meter to place fourth at the meet.

The Iowa State dual brought a solid 275.35 for Hinze in the one-meter, leading to a runner-up finish in the event. In the same weekend, Hinze recorded a pair of fourth-place finishes in the one-meter and three-meter against Minnesota. Against the Jayhawks (Nov. 5), Hinze notched a runner-up finish with a 269.63 in the three-meter. She added a third-place finish in the one-meter dive on the day.

At the Bruin Diving Invite (Jan. 14-16), Hinze earned spots in the one- and three-meter finals, placing 17th and 18th, respectively. She capped off the dual season with a career-best of 298.13 in the three-meter dive to finish third against Illinois. She added a runner-up placement in the one-meter with a 267.90 against the Fighting Illini. Hinze finished off her season at zones, where she placed 28th (250.00) in the one-meter and 29th in the three-meter (264.70).

2020-21 (Redshirt Freshman)
Hinze notched four top-five finishes during the abbreviated 2021 season, beginning with a pair of fifth-place showings on the one- and three-meter boards at Iowa (Jan. 16). She finished fourth on the one-meter event with a 263.32 in a dual with Illinois (Jan. 23). She also added a 259.65 on the three-meter to take fifth against the Illini. Hinze competed in both the one-meter (35th, 225.6) and three-meter events (39th, 211.20) at the 2021 Big Ten Diving Championships in West Lafayette, Ind.

2019-20 (Medical Redshirt)
Hinze had her freshman season cut short by injury and applied for a medical redshirt to regain a season of eligibility. She competed in Nebraska’s first two weekends of the 2019-20 campaign, posting a season-best 249.83 on the one-meter dive in a dual win over Iowa State (Oct. 19). She posted a season-best 243.01 on the one-meter board in a dual win over South Dakota State (Oct. 11). Hinze finished fourth on the one meter in wins over Northern Iowa (242.40) and Iowa State (233.48), while adding a fourth-place finish against UNI on the three meter (227.24). She finished with four top-five finishes overall. In the classroom, Hinze earned spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll both semesters.

Before Nebraska
Hinze came to Nebraska after an impressive high school and club career. While competing for Conroe High School, she was a two-time National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association All-American, UIL 6A District Champion, UIL 6A Regional Champion, UIL 6A State Bronze Medalist, and First-Team All-State selection and Texas Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association Scholarship Recipient. Hinze also set the school record for an 11-dive score (471.85). At the club level, Hinze competed for Woodlands Diving Academy and was a four-time AAU All-American, Texas Amateur Athletic Federation Local Athlete of the Year, seven-time USA Diving zone qualifier, and two-time USA Diving Spring National Qualifier.

Personal 
The daughter of Greg and Katheryne Hinze and Deidre Vasquez, Reagan was born Aug. 10, 2001. She has one sister, Sydney. Reagan is majoring in child, youth and family studies/music and was a second-team CSCAA Scholar All-American in 2022. A 2023 Big Ten Distinguished Scholar, Hinze is a three-time Academic All-Big Ten choice. She is also a six-time Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll selection. She is a four-time member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team. She chose Nebraska over Rutgers, Illinois, Cincinnati and Colorado State.
