2018 (Freshman)
Torri Hutchinson saw action in five meets while adding depth on bars for the Huskers in her freshman season.  She competed exclusively on bars and floor, scoring a season-high 9.825 on bars and floor during the best meet of her young career at the Masters Classic. Hutchinson got off to a strong start in the classroom, earning spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in both the fall and spring semesters of 2017-18. She was also a member of the 2018 Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.

Before Nebraska
Hutchinsontrained alongside her sister Karley at Pearland Elite in Pearland, Texas, for coaches Tasha Beale and Nick Cedillo. Torri was a qualifier to the J.O. National Championships in 2017, where she tied for 10th on balance beam. Hutchinson also qualified to the J.O. National Championships in 2014, where she earned a 10th-place finish on beam as well. Hutchinson tied for seventh on beam at the 2016 Region 3 Championships, and she finished fifth on floor at the 2015 Region 3 Championships. Hutchinson chose Nebraska over Kent State.

Personal
The daughter of Robert and Shawnda Hutchinson, Torri was born on Aug. 20, 1999. She has a twin sister, Karley, who is also a freshman on the Nebraska women's gymnastics team, an older sister, Amber, and an older brother, Derek. She graduated from Pearland High School in 2017. A biological sciences major, she earned her bachelor's degree from Nebraska in December of 2021. She earned spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall and spring semesters of 2017-18. She was also a member of the 2018 Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.
