2018 (Senior)
As a senior, Abbie Epperson was a great competitor and leader for the Huskers, competing in all-around nearly every meet. She posted her career high 39.450 twice in 2018, with the last coming at the Masters Classic on March 4. The first-team All-Big Ten selection as a senior hit her a career high 9.875 on floor against Minnesota on Feb. 3. Epperson won four event titles as a senior and posted season highs over 9.825 in three of the four events.

Epperson, who claimed nine event titles during her collegiate career, transferred to Nebraska from Maryland prior to the 2017 season.

Outside the gym, Epperson was a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and claimed Academic All-Big Ten honors in 2018. She was also named to the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in both the fall and spring semesters of 2017-18. She was also a member of the 2018 Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.

2017 (Junior)
Epperson was a strong performer on multiple events for Nebraska in 2017, competing mostly as a three-event specialist in her first season as a Husker. The Maryland transfer saw action on at least three events in seven of NU's 12 meets, and she competed in the all-around twice.

Epperson scored a personal-best 9.925 on bars at the B1G Five meet to finish tied for second on the event, which helped the Huskers clinch the Big Ten regular-season title. She also hit season highs of 9.825 on vault and beam multiple times throughout the season, while she posted her best floor performance early in the season with a 9.825 at Rutgers. Epperson helped the Huskers take seventh at the NCAA Championships with solid scores of 9.8375 on bars and 9.825 on beam.

A standout outside the gym, Epperson earned spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall and spring semesters of 2016-17. She was also a member of the 2017 Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.

Before Nebraska
Epperson competed for Maryland for two seasons before joining the Nebraska program. She qualified for the 2016 NCAA Athens Regional as a sophomore, finishing seventh on uneven bars with a score of 9.85. She was named the Big Ten Event Specialist of the Week on Feb. 2, 2015, after winning the bars title at Iowa with a career-high 9.90. She also qualified for an NCAA regional on bars as a freshman, tying for 12th. Epperson tied for fifth on vault at the 2015 Big Ten Championships with a score of 9.90. She trained at Metroplex Gymnastics in Allen, Texas, for coaches Marnie Futch and Gina Logan. She was a two-time J.O. National Championships qualifier, finishing fourth on both bars and floor in 2014. Epperson finished third in the all-around at the 2014 Region 3 Championships. At the 2014 Texas State Championships, Epperson took second place on bars, beam and in the all-around.
