2019 (Freshman)
Megan Thompson did not see action in the 2019 season but provided depth on all four events for the Huskers.

She got off to a great start outside the gym being named tot he Nebraska Scholar Athlete Honor Roll in both the fall and spring semesters of her freshman season, as well as being named to the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.

Before Nebraska
Thompson trains at Desert Light Gymnastics and qualified for the Region 1 Championship in 2017, where she finished in second on floor and sixth on beam. She finished fifth in the all-around at the 2017 Arizona State Championships.

Personal
Megan is the daughter of Tom and Sherrie Thompson and was born on Feb. 13, 2000 in Denver, Colo. She has one sister, Brinley (10) and two brothers, Luke (15) and Kade (12). 

"I chose Nebraska because the university gives me the best opportunities both academically and athletically, and it will allow me to surround myself with the type of quality people I would like to be around for the next four years," Thompson said.
