2012 • Sophomore Season
Deanna Barmore competed in the Huskers' first three meets of the season before suffering an injury which sidelined her for the rest of the year. Barmore competed on the vault in all three meets, posting a career-high 9.875 against Denver on Jan. 13. Barmore scored a 9.70 at Iowa State on Jan. 20 and a 9.725 at home against Missouri on Jan. 28

2011 • Freshman Season 
Deanna Barmore entered her first year with the Huskers ready to make an impact in NU's vault and beam lineups. Nebraska looked to her for depth at both positions throughout the entire season. She tied her career high on vault with a 9.725 at the NCAA Corvallis Regional on April 2.

Before Nebraska
Barmore competed for coach Barb Bottieri at Nebraska Gold Gymnastics in Omaha, Neb. At the 2010 Junior Olympic National Championships she tied for seventh on vault and took 19th in the all-around. In addition, Barmore was a four-time national qualifier (2005, 2007, 2008 and 2010).

A 2010 graduate of Millard West High School, Barmore lettered in diving and was named to the honor roll all four years of her high school career, carrying a 3.9 GPA.

Personal
Deanna Barmore was born on Aug. 17, 1991 in Lincoln, Neb. She is the daughter of Dave and Deb Barmore and has two sisters, Denise and Danielle. Deanna is a nutrition and exercise health science major at Nebraska.
