2013 • Senior Season
After sitting out Nebraska’s first two meets of the season, Brittany Skinner eased back into the NU lineup in late January and finished the season as an all-around competitior for the Huskers. She set herself apart as one of the Huskers’ top vaulters in her senior campaign, capturing four individual titles on the event and a top-20 national ranking. Her work as a member of NU’s vaulting corps earned her a spot on the All-Big Ten second team in 2013.

Skinner saved her finest all-around performance as a Husker for NU’s final regular season meet at Cal. She posted a career-high 39.525 that included a meet-best 9.90 on beam. Skinner added her first career individual conference title the following week, earning a share of the Big Ten vault title with a career-best 9.95. The performance also gave Skinner her second career all-conference championship team selection.

She followed up two weeks later by tying for top honors on vault at the NCAA Morgantown Regional, tying her career-best 9.95 mark from the Big Ten Championship. Her efforts earned her a berth as an individual at the 2013 NCAA Championships in Los Angeles, Calif., where she posted a 9.825 in preliminary competition.

2012 • Junior Season
Skinner's reliability was key for the 2012 Huskers. The junior competed in 12 meets throughout the season, including eight appearances in all-around competition. Brittany Skinner became a two-time All-American in 2011, earning a second-team All-America award on beam (9.775, fifth) at the 2011 NCAA Championships. Skinner's performance helped the Huskers advance to the Super Six Team Finals, where they finished fourth. She competed as a three-event specialist for NU on vault, bars and beam throughout her sophomore season.
