2020 (Sophomore/COVID-19 Pandemic)
Indoor: Placed sixth as a member of the 4x400m relay team at the Big Ten Indoor Championships with a time of 3:10.74o...ran season-bests in the 200m (22.32) at the Graduate Classic and 400m (49.00) at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational...was a member of the winning 4x400m relay squad at the Mark Colligan Memorial and adidas Classic.

Outdoor: Due to the global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the 2020 outdoor season was not contested. To help combat the spread of the virus, both the Big Ten Conference and the University of Nebraska suspended all team activities, effective March 13.

2019 (Freshman)
Indoor: Set a 200m PR of 21.83 at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invite...ran a season-best time of 49.11o at the Iowa State Classic...was part of the winning 4x400m relay at the Big Ten Invitational with a time of 3:13.38 and part of the winning distance medley relay at the Graduate Classic with a time of 9:47.07.

Outdoor: Placed fifth with the 4x400m relay at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships (3:08.60)...qualified for the NCAA West Preliminary Round and helped the 4x400m relay finish 17th (3:08.55)...ran a season-best time of 21.58A in the 200m at the Texas Tech Shootout and 47.92 in the 400m at the Husker Invitational...won the 4x400m relay title at the Husker Invitational and Crimson Tide Invitational.

2018 (Redshirt)
Indoor: Redshirted...competed unattached in four meets...ran season-best times 7.01 in the 60m at the Nebraska Tune-Up, 22.33 in the 200m at the Prairie Wolf Invitational and 48.95 in the 400m at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invite.

Outdoor: Redshirted...competed unattached in the Nebraska Invitational...ran the 200m in 22.05 and placed fifth.

Before Nebraska
Attended Dobyns-Bennett High School in Kingsport, Tennessee...won the 2016 Tennessee state title in the 400m...set a 200m prep best of 21.56 and 400m prep best of 47.83...also ran the 60m in 7.06 and the 100m in 10.85...was an all-state selection in both football and track.

Born March 24, 1999...parents are Brian Barrett and Gurry Kay Huffman...a mechanical engineering major who earned his bachelor's degree from Nebraska in May of 2022.
