Outdoor: Recorded his season-best pole vault of 14-8 1/4 (4.48) at the Nebraska Quad...named to the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the spring semester.

Came to Nebraska after completing his prep career at McCook High School under vault coach Bill Ramsey...came back from ACL surgery his junior year to qualify for the Class B state meet with a jump of 13-1...produced seven gold medals and a McCook High School record as a senior...cleared 15-0 twice his senior season, the second time winning him gold at the Greater Nebraska Athletic Conference Meet...concluded his high school track career with a bronze medal at the 2011 state meet, vaulting 14-10 and finishing behind two fellow Husker recruits...was an honor roll student and two-time letterwinner in football.
