2014 (Senior)
Maggie Maher (pronounced mah-HER) competed in three pole vault events for NU throughout the 2014 indoor season… recorded a season-best mark of 12-2 ¾ (3.73) at the Nebraska Tune-Up in a fourth place showing… progressively improved her marks at each indoor appearance…battled in the pole vault at the Big Ten Indoor Championships where she finished in 19th place.
2013 (Junior)
Maher closed out the 2013 indoor season with an eighth-place finish in the pole vault at the Big Ten Championships, posting a mark of 12-7 1/2 (3.85)... posted a season-best vault of 12-11 1/2 (3.95) at the Holiday Inn Invitational on Jan. 12....competed in three meets during the 2013 outdoor season...set her season-best mark of 12-8 1/4 (3.87) in the pole vault in a runner-up showing at the Crimson Tide Invite, which was the second-best mark of the year for the NU women...earned another runner-up finish at the Nebraska Invite as she cleared 12-3 1/2 (3.75) on May 5... earned a spot on the Nebraska Scholar-Athelte Honor Roll in the fall of 2012.
2012 (Sophomore)
Maher competed in eight meets during the indoor season... notched a personal-best vault of 13-2 1/2 (4.03) at the 2012 Big Ten Indoor Championships, finishing fifth... competed in seven meets during the outdoor season... set a personal-best mark of 13-0 3/4 (3.98) at the 2012 Big Ten Outdoor Championships, finishing sixth... recorded a vault of 12-4 1/2 at the NCAA West Preliminary Round... was named to the fall 2011 and spring 2012 Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll.
2011 (Redshirt Freshman)
Maher competed in three meets during the indoor track and field season... posted a personal-best vault of 11-4 1/2 at the Nebraska Tune-Up on Feb. 18... competed in four meets during the outdoor track and field season... notched a personal-best 12-3 1/2 at the Nebraska Open on May 1.
2010 (Redshirt)
Maher redshirted her first year at Nebraska... did not compete during the indoor season due to injury... vaulted at two meets outdoors as an unattached athlete... cleared a season best of 11-8 1/2 at the Nebraska Invitational.
Before Nebraska (Kearney)
Maher was a three-time Nebraska state champion in the pole vault... won her first title as a sophomore in 2007 in Class B while at Centennial High School, vaulting 11-0... competed for Kearney High School as a junior and senior in Class A... cleared 11-4 1/4 in 2008 to win the All-Class gold medal... defended her title in 2009 with a vault of 11-6... vaulted a personal best of 12-2 at the 2009 GNAC Championships... member of the National Honor Society.

Parents are Brian and Peg Maher... born Jan. 24, 1991... sister, Lindsey, was a member of the NU track and field team (2007-10) and brother, Brett, was an All-Big Ten punter/place-kicker on the NU football team.... is a special education major at Nebraska.
