Katie Smith Season 2011-12

2014 (Sophomore)
Katie Smith competed in three high jump competitions throughout the 2014 indoor season… posted a personal-best clearance of 5-5 (1.65) in a fourth-place high jump showing at the Mark Colligan Memorial.

2013 (Freshman)
Smith competed in five meets during the 2013 indoor season... posted a personal-best leap of 5-5 (1.65) in the high jump at the adidas Classic on Jan. 19...participated in seven meets during the 2013 outdoor season...set a season-best in the high jump with a height of 5-6 (1.68) at the Pre-Drake meet...finished 18th in the high jump at the 2013 Big Ten Outdoor Championships with a mark of 5-4 1/2 (1.64) on May 12...earned academic All-Big Ten honors... claimed spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall and spring semesters of 2012-13

2012 (Redshirt)
Smith redshirted both the indoor and outdoor seasons in 2012... competed unattached in three indoor meets... set an indoor season-best of 5-3 (1.60) in the high jump three times... posted a season-best mark of 5-7 (1.70) in the high jump at the Nebraska Mini Meet... was named to the spring 2012 Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll.

Before Nebraska (Kearney)
Smith came to Nebraska after placing in the high jump all four years at the Class A State Championships and winning the All-Class Gold in the high jump her senior year...set the high jump record at Kearney High School with a mark of 5-8.
