2011 (Junior)
Carter Wasem (pronounced Wah-SUM) finished the 2011 indoor season with a fourth-place showing in the weight throw at the 2011 Big 12 Indoor Championships, recording a mark of 61-3 1/2... notched a personal-best 62-2 1/2 at the Nebraska Tune-Up in the weight throw... competed in five meets in the outdoor track and field season... notched a personal-best 186-11 in the hammer throw at the WSU Classic... completed the outdoor season with a 184-9 hammer throw to finish in eighth place.

2010 (Sophomore)
Wasem opened the indoor season by breaking his previous best of 57-7 in the weight throw with a toss of 57-9 1/2 at the Holiday Inn Invitational... improved the mark at the Nebraska Tune-Up with a throw of 57-9 3/4... saved his best for the Big 12 Indoor Championships where he earned his first All-Big 12 honor with an eighth-place toss of 57-11... broke his previous best of 180-4 in the hammer throw during the outdoor season with a mark of 182-11 at the Nebraska Invitational... improved the mark once more at the conference meet with a throw of 183-6 to take seventh.

2009 (Redshirt Freshman) 
After recovering from off-season shoulder surgery, Wasem returned for the indoor season to top his previous best of 55-11 in the weight throw with a toss of 56-5 3/4 at the adidas Classic... improved the mark at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational with a throw of 57-7... broke his previous best of 171-11 in the hammer throw at the WSC Wildcat Open with a throw of 172-1... added more than eight feet to his personal best with a second-place throw of 180-4 at the Ward Haylett Invitational to conclude the outdoor season.

2008 (Freshman) 
Wasem redshirted his first year at Nebraska... recorded a then-personal-best throw of 55-11 as an unattached athlete at the adidas Classic... competed three times during the outdoor season... posted a then-personal best in the hammer throw at the UNK Twilight with a throw of 171-11. 

Before Nebraska (Aurora HS)
Wasem ended his high school career at the 2007 Nebraska Class B state meet with a fourth-place finish in the shot put (55-9 1/4) under coaches Scott Jones and Kyle Peterson... finished third in the shot (55-6) and fourth in the discus in 2006... was a member of the National Honor Society.
