2011 (Junior)
Breanna Bussel earned All-Big 12 accolades in the pole vault at the 2011 Big 12 Indoor Championships with a sixth-place finish and a season-high vault of 12-10 1/4... competed in eight meets during the indoor track and field season... recorded a mark of 12-9 1/2 at the adidas Classic on Jan. 22... finished in a tie for eighth at the 2011 Big 12 Outdoor Championships with a pole vault of 13-0 3/4, earning All-Big 12 honors again... reached her personal best of 13-1 1/2 three times during the outdoor season at the Kansas Relays, Drake Relays and Nebraska Open.

2010 (Sophomore)
Bussel set two personal bests in 2010 and earned her second straight outdoor All-Big 12 honor... cleared 12 feet or more in the vault at her first three meets of the indoor season... struggled at the Big 12 Indoor Championships and tied for 15th... cleared 12 feet or more at all five of her outdoor meets... set her indoor personal best at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships when weather forced the event indoors... placed sixth with a clearance of 12-11... broke her outdoor personal best two weeks later at the NCAA West Regional with a vault of 12-9 1/2.

2009 (Redshirt Freshman)
Bussel was limited to one meet during the 2009 indoor season, as she was recovering from an offseason ankle injury... vaulted in seven meets during the outdoor season... matched her previous best of 12-1 1/2 at the Nebraska Invitational and John McDonnell Invitational, before breaking it with a vault of 12-3 1/2 at the Nebraska Quad... earned the first All-Big 12 honor of her career at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships where she tied for sixth with a leap of 12-1 1/2.

 

2008 (Freshman)
Bussel redshirted the indoor and outdoor seasons in her first year at Nebraska... competed unattached at five meets during the indoor season... cleared a then-indoor personal best of 11-6 1/4 at the adidas Classic to finish sixth... competed at both home meets during the outdoor season... vaulted 12-1 1/2 at each meet.

 

Before Nebraska (Jefferson City HS)
Bussel was one of the top prep pole vaulters in Missouri under Coach Dennis Licklider... finished second in the pole vault at the Missouri Class 4 state meet with a vault of 11-8 in 2005, before claiming the title with a vault of 11-9 in 2007... also ran on the 4x400 relay team that won the Class 4 crown (3:55.42) in 2004... helped her Jefferson City High School team to state titles from 2005 to 2007.
