Anthony Pittman ran unattached in two meets during the indoor season, posting a season-best time of 9:35.12 in the 3,000 meters at the Nebraska Tune-Up... was named to the Fall 2011 Nebraska Honor Roll.

2011 (Freshman)
Pittman competed in four meets during the indoor track and field season... posted a personal-best time of 9:23.41 in the 3,000 meters at the Holiday Inn Invitational... also recorded a personal-best 15:46.30 in the 5,000 meters at the Frank Sevigne Invitational... competed in three meets during the outdoor track and field season... notched a personal-best time of 16:07.39 in the 5,000 meters at the Nebraska Open.

Before Nebraska (Millard West HS)
Pittman earned his first state medal on the track as a senior, as he finished eighth in the 3,200 meters with a time of 9:55.86... led Millard West High School to back-to-back Class A cross country state titles under Coach Max Kurz... broke onto the scene at the 2008 state meet by running 16:37.0 to finish runner-up to Husker teammate Parker Schoen... cut nearly 14 seconds off his time the following year, but missed out on the individual title again with a second-place time of 16:23.6.
