2009 (Junior)
Nikita Eades (pronounced EEDS) competed in the 60-meter hurdles at six meets during the indoor season... ran a season-best time of 8.53 during the preliminaries at the adidas Classic... took first at the Nebraska Tune-Up (8.59)... missed All-Big 12 honors by one spot with a ninth-place finish at the Big 12 Indoor Championships, but did earn honors as a member of the eighth-place 4x400-meter relay and seventh-place distance-medley relay... started the outdoor season with a fourth-place time of 14.49 in the 100-meter hurdles at the Jim Click Shootout... ran a season-best time of 13.74 at the Drake Relays to place fifth... placed in the top three in all three of her 400-meter hurdle races, including a personal-best time of 1:01.18 to win the Nebraska Quad... ended the year with a third straight appearance at the Midwest Regional in the 100-meter hurdles.
2008 (Sophomore)
Eades started her sophomore season with a third-place finish at the Holiday Inn Invite with a time of 8.69 in the 60-meter hurdles... recorded a third-place finish at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational with a time of 8.56... posted her top time on the season (8.52) in the preliminaries of the Big 12 Indoor Championships... started the outdoor season by sweeping the 100- and 400-meter hurdles at the Jim Click Shootout... finished sixth at the Drake Relays with a personal-best wind-aided time of 13.45 in the 100-meter hurdles and was a member of the 4x100-meter shuttle hurdle relay team that finished runner-up with a school-record time of 55.18... recorded a personal-best time of 13.52 at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships in the 100-hurdle preliminaries, placed fifth in the finals... teamed with Karyn LaCour, Chi Kalu and Rachel Butler to finish eighth in the 4x100-meter relay at the outdoor conference meet... ended her season at the NCAA Midwest Regional with a ninth-place finish in the 100 hurdles (13.90).
2007 (Freshman)
Eades burst onto the collegiate track and field scene in 2007, quickly becoming one of Nebraska’s top hurdlers... concentrated on the 60-meter hurdles during the indoor season, earning four first-place finishes and a top time of 8.46 at the Husker Invite... earned a seventh-place finish in the event at the Big 12 Championships with a time of 8.56 in the finals... focused on the 100- and 400-meter hurdles during the outdoor season, notching a top time of 13.6 (manual time) in the 100 hurdles to place first at the Nebraska Open... ran 100-meter hurdles season best of 13.85 at the John Jacobs Invitational and again at the NCAA Midwest Regional prelims... was not able to run in the Big 12 100-meter hurdles final due to injury... marked a season best of 1:03.83 in the 400-meter hurdles.
Before Nebraska (Littleton HS)
Eades competed at the 2006 USATF Junior Championships, earning eighth place in the 400-meter hurdles (1:02.08)... ran her personal-best prep time of 13.82 in the 100-meter hurdles as a senior at Littleton High School at the 2006 Liberty Bell Invitational... finished runner-up in the event at the 2006 Colorado Class 5A state meet in 14.26, despite dealing with a leg injury... swept the 100- (14.02) and 300-meter (43.34) hurdle titles at the 2006 Kansas Relays while also running on the winning 4x100-meter shuttle hurdle relay that set the meet record... placed in three events at the state meet as a junior in 2005 for Smoky Hill High School, including a third-place finish in the 300-meter hurdles (43.27) a fifth-place standing in the 100 hurdles (15.26) and a fourth-place effort in the 4x400-meter relay... competed for Eaglecrest High School as a freshman and sophomore, placing third at the state meet in the 100-meter hurdles in 2004 (14.49), as well as third in the 300-meter hurdles (45.31) and fourth in the 100 hurdles (15.20) in 2003... earned sixth place in the 60-meter hurdles at the 2006 National Scholastic Indoor Championships... ran her personal-best time in the 300 hurdles to finish runner-up at the 2006 Great Southwest Classic, while clocking 13.86w in the 100-meter hurdles... was coached at Littleton by Brian Kula.
