2009 (Junior)

A team co-captain in 2009, Chris Nuttelman qualified to compete in the triple jump at the NCAA Midwest Regional for the third consecutive year... jumped at three meets during the indoor season... took top honors at the NWU Invitational and posted a season-best jump of 45-7 3/4 at the adidas Classic... posted five top-five finishes at his seven outdoor competitions... qualified for the regional meet at the final regular-season event, the Concordia Twilight, with a wind-aided jump of 49-3 3/4... jumped 47-8 at regionals to finish 26th.

 

2008 (Sophomore)

Nuttelman competed at both Big 12 Championships and qualified for the NCAA Midwest Regional for the second straight year in the triple jump... won the NWU Invitational (47-2 1/4) and the Prairie Wolf Invitational (48-9) during the indoor season... finished third at the Iowa State Classic with an indoor personal-best leap of 49-1 3/4... moved up one spot from 11th in 2007 to 10th at the 2008 Big 12 Indoor Championships with a jump of 47-7 1/4... started the outdoor season with a fourth-place finish (48-1 3/4) at the Jim Click Shootout... finished runner-up at the Nebraska Open (47-8 1/2) and the Nebraska Invitational (46-11 1/2) to teammate Nicholas Gordon... improved his jump at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships by seven and one-half inches from 2007, but finished two spots lower at 14th... ended the year with a 17th-place showing at the NCAA Midwest Regional (48-2 3/4).

 

2007 (Redshirt Freshman)

Nuttelman competed in the triple jump after redshirting in 2006... set five personal-record jumps on the year... finished the indoor season with a personal best of 48-7 1/2 at the Tyson Invitational... bounded 47-4 1/4 for 12th place at the Big 12 Indoor Championships... grabbed his first collegiate victory in the triple jump at the Doane Relays with a PR jump of 49-10, which also qualified him for the NCAA Midwest Regional... after finishing 11th at the Big 12 Championships (49-2 1/2) was 14th at regionals with a jump of 48-2 1/2. 

 

2006 (Freshman)

Nuttelman redshirted both indoor and outdoor seasons during his first year at Nebraska... competed unattached in three indoor meets and twice outdoors.

 

Before Nebraska (Kearney HS)

Nuttelman arrived at Nebraska with a personal-best mark in the triple jump of 46-0... placed fourth (45-5 1/2) in his only state meet appearance at the 2005 Nebraska Class A State Championships under Coach Roger Mathiesen... began his career as a high jumper, but broke his leg as a junior at the 2004 district meet... switched to the triple jump midway through his senior season... was a member of the National Honor Society.
