Jamie Ryder missed the both the indoor and outdoor seasons with injury. 

 

2008 (Sophomore / Redshirt Freshman)

Ryder recorded a personal best in the 60-meter hurdles during the indoor season on his way to making the trip to the Big 12 Championships for the first time... started the indoor season with a fifth-place finish at the Holiday Inn Invite (8.20)... finished third the following week at the Conference Challenge (8.16)... ran a personal-best time of 8.05 in the preliminaries of the Big 12 Indoor Championships to tie for the No. 13 spot on the Nebraska all-time indoor performance list... went on to finish 10th in the finals at the conference meet... matched his personal best at the Iowa State Last Chance... started the outdoor season by finishing seventh at the Jim Click Shootout in the 110-meter hurdles... recorded a wind-aided personal-best time of 14.30 in the preliminaries of the Drake Relays.

 

2007 (Freshman)

Ryder focused on the 60-meter hurdles during the indoor season and redshirted the outdoor season... ran in seven indoor meets in the 60-meter hurdles with a best placing of second at the Holiday Inn Invitational... ran a season-best time of 8.14 in the prelims at the adidas Classic... ran unattached in two meets in the 110-meter hurdles during the outdoor season... posted a season-best wind-aided time of 14.94 at the Nebraska Invitational.

 

Before Nebraska (Sir Frederick Banting HS)

Ryder arrived at Nebraska from London, Ontario, Canada, where he compiled an outstanding resume as a Canadian prep athlete in the hurdles... won the 2006 Ontario provincial title in the 110-meter hurdles with a personal-best time of 13.86 (39-inch hurdles)... ranked first among all Canadian junior hurdlers for 2006 by a margin of more than two-tenths of a second... finished runner-up in the 60-meter hurdles at the 2006 National Scholastic Indoor Championship in New York with a career-best mark of 7.91... set his personal best over the 42-inch 60-meter hurdles by winning the OFTA indoor meet in Toronto... set the Canadian junior national record with his time of 8.12, which ranked fifth among the nation’s hurdlers for all ages in 2006... qualified for the 2006 IAAF World Junior Championships in the 110-meter hurdles, but did not compete due to injury... won the 2005 Canadian junior title in the event with a time of 14.38 (42-inch hurdles) in Montreal.
