Brooke Dinsdale earned All-Big 12 honors in the 800 meters at the 2011 Big 12 Indoor Championships with a time of 2:10.84 for fourth place... notched a personal-best indoor time of 2:09.08 in the 800 meters at the Big 12 Indoor Championship preliminary session... recorded a personal-best time of 2:57.58 in the 1,000 meters at the Holiday Inn Invitational... finished 10th in the 800 meters at the 2011 Big 12 Outdoor Championships with a time of 2:09.44... recorded a 2:09.13 in the 800 meters at the Pepsi Invitational on April 9... ran a season-best time of 2:07.36 at the Ward Haylett Invitational on May 7... also notched a season-best time of 4:50.73 in the 1,500 meters at the Stanford Invitational.
2010 (Sophomore)
Dinsdale produced a solid sophomore season with four personal bests, including three during the indoor season... opened the year with a personal-best time of 2:59.03 in the 1,000 meters at the Holiday Inn Invitational... recorded her best time in the 600 yards at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational (1:23.41)... ran an oversized best of 2:10.88 in the 800 meters at the ISU Classic... came up one spot shy of All-Big 12 honors in the 800 meters and 4x400 meter-relay at the Big 12 Indoor Championships with a pair of ninth-place finishes... ran the 800 and 1,500 meters during the outdoor season... cleared a 1,500-meter PR of 4:33.50 at the Stanford Invitational... placed 13th in the 800 meters at the conference outdoor meet and then finished the year by competing in the 800 at the NCAA West Regional where she finished 38th.
2009 (Freshman)
Dinsdale opened her collegiate career with a time of 2:19.76 in the 800 meters at the Holiday Inn Invitational... ran a then-oversized-personal best of 2:15.83 at the ISU Classic... ran an outdoor season-best time of 2:13.30 at the John McDonnell Invitational... competed at her first Big 12 Championships in Lubbock, Texas, finishing 14th.
Before Nebraska (North Tama HS)
Dinsdale came to Nebraska as a 14-time Iowa state champion at North Tama High School in Traer, Iowa... helped the team to back-to-back-to-back team championships in 2006, 2007 and 2008... 2008 team scored the most points in state meet history... individually won the 800, 1,500 and 3,000 meters as a sophomore... returned as a junior to win the 1,500 and 3,000 meters... helped the distance-medley relay team win titles in 2006, 2007 and 2008... set the Iowa class 1A state meet record in the 800 meters (2:09.60), 3,000 meters (10:06.10) and DMR (4:05.37)... two-time Iowa Class 1A state cross country champion... propelled team to a championship in 2005... was the 2006 AAU Junior Olympic intermediate girls 800-meter and 1,500-meter champion and was a member of the winning 4x800-meter relay... member of the 4x800-meter relay team that broke the AAU and USATF national records... time in the 800 meters at the 2006 AAU meet broke the national record and earned her the Joel Ferrell Award for best athlete... placed seventh at the 2006 USA Junior Championships in the 800-meter run... named the Iowa Gatorade Female Track and Field Athlete of the Year in 2006... member of the National Honor Society and was the class valedictorian... chose Nebraska over Missouri, Kansas and Wisconsin.
