Scott Jorgenson competed in two meets during the indoor track and field season... ran a personal-best 7.31 in the preliminary round of the 60 meters at the adidas Classic... posted a time of 23.33 in the 200 meters at the adidas Classic.

2010 (Junior)
Jorgenson did not compete in any meets in 2010 due to injury.

2009 (Sophomore/Redshirt Freshman)
Jorgenson broke his previous best of 23-7 1/4 in the indoor long jump at the adidas Classic with a leap of 23-8... improved the mark again at the Tyson Invitational with a clearance of 23-9 1/2... opened the outdoor season with a then-personal-best jump of 24-5 3/4 at the Jim Click Shootout... set his personal best and wind-aided best at the John McDonnell Invitational with leaps of 24-6 1/2 and 25-2 3/4, respectively... missed out on All-Big 12 honors by one spot with a ninth-place finish at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships... placed 13th at the NCAA Midwest Regional to end the season.

2008 (Freshman)
Jorgenson competed indoors for the Huskers and then redshirted outdoors... produced his top finish at the NWU Invitational with a runner-up jump of 23-1 1/4... recorded a then-personal-best of 23-7 1/4 as an unattached athlete at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational to finish sixth.

Before Nebraska (Brookings HS)
Jorgenson set the South Dakota all-time state record in the long jump (23-8 1/2) on May 17, 2007 at the Huron Invitational, breaking a 31-year old record... leaped 22-9 1/4 to win the 2007 South Dakota Class AA long jump... earned runner-up honors in the long jump at the 2006 state meet... placed fourth in the long jump as a freshman in 2004... was recognized as a Presidential Scholar, awarded the 2007 South Dakota Wendy's High School Heisman and was a National Merit Scholar finalist.
