2008 (Sophomore)

Janae Mueller competed in six meets during the indoor season, running the 600-yard run at the Conference Challenge and the 800 meters at every other meet... posted fourth-place finish at the Conference Challenge (1:28.00)... set personal best in the 800 meters at the Prairie Wolf Invite with a time of 2:21.64... competed in only the 800 meters during the outdoor season at four meets... opened the outdoor season at the John Jacobs Invitational with a ninth-place finish... placed third the next two weeks at the Doane Relays and the Nebraska Open... ended the season with a personal-best time of 2:17.98 at the Ward Haylett Invitational.

2007 (Redshirt Freshman)
Mueller competed in just one indoor meet, finishing 16th in the 600-meter run with a time of 1:42.75... did not compete during the outdoor season due to injury.

2006 (Freshman)

Mueller redshirted both indoors and outdoors during her first season at Nebraska... competed unattached in the 600-yard run at the Holiday Inn Invitational, adidas Classic, Frank Sevigne Husker Invite, and in the 600 meters at the Nebraska Wesleyan Triangular and Prairie Wolf Invite... ran unattached outdoors once in the 800 meters at the Kansas Relays. 

 

High School (Columbus Lakeview)
Mueller qualified for the Nebraska Class B state meet during each of her four years at Columbus Lakeview High School under Coach Tom Lange... won state titles in the 400 meters as a freshman in 2002 (58.26) and as a junior in 2004 (57.73), while finishing second as a senior in 2005 (57.53) and as a sophomore in 2003 (59.48)... qualified for the state meet all four years in the 800 meters, earning the bronze medal in 2005 (2:23.56) and 2003 (2:23.29)... was fourth in the 2002 800-meter run as a freshman with a personal-best mark of 2:20.81... also qualified in the 200-meter dash in 2005 and 2004, when she claimed fourth place in 26.41... was a member of the National Honor Society. 

 

Personal
Major is nutritional sciences and dietetics... parents are Con and Marla (Lichty) Mueller... mother was a three-time letterwinner on the NU volleyball team, while brother, Josh, completed his career as a tight end for the Cornhusker football team in 2007... born Jan. 8, 1987.
