2010 (Senior/Junior)
Ethan Luebbe (pronounced LEW-bee) ran the 800 meters, 1,000 meters and mile during the indoor season... posted an oversized-best time of 1:52.77 in the 800 at the ISU Classic... ran the 1,000 meters at the Big 12 Indoor Championships but failed to make the finals... set personal bests in the 800 and 1,500 meters during the outdoor season... bettered his previous best of 1:53.12 in the 800 with a time of 1:52.04 at the Nebraska Open... lowered his 1,500-meter time to 3:56.07 at the Jim Click Shootout.

2009 (Junior/Sophomore)

Luebbe opened the 2009 season with a second-place finish in the mile at the Holiday Inn Invitational... won the 1,000 meters the following week at the Conference Challenge with a time of 2:27.94... competed just twice during the outdoor season... placed 14th at the John McDonnell Invitational and 10th at the Nebraska Quad in the 800 meters.

 

2008 (Sophomore)

Luebbe got off to a late start during the indoor season following a hamstring injury during cross country that forced him to miss the 2008 outdoor season as well... ran a personal best of 2:25.59 in the 1,000 meters as an unattached athlete at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational... made his indoor debut as a Husker at the adidas Classic with a personal-best time of 4:12.95 in the mile... scored at the Big 12 Indoor Championships for the second straight year in the 1,000 meters with a sixth-place finish (2:31.32).

 

2007 (Freshman)

Luebbe highlighted his freshman season with a fourth-place finish in the 1,000 meters (2:26.83, oversized track) at the Big 12 Indoor Championships... earned All-Big 12 honors and helped the Huskers to a share of the Big 12 team title... shattered his personal-best mile time by nearly 18 seconds (4:15.22) at the adidas Classic.... despite fighting hamstring problems, ran a then-personal-best time of 1:53.12 in the 800-meter prelims at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships, but did not qualify for the finals.

 

Before Nebraska (Centennial HS)

Luebbe was a three-year qualifier for the Nebraska Class B state meet under Coach Dean Davis... won the 2004 Class B 800-meter run state title with a time of 1:55.77 as a sophomore... competed in the 800 at the state meet as a junior in 2005, but did not place due to an injury... did not compete on his high school team as a senior but did run unattached at several meets, including a career-best 800-meter time of 1:55.29 at the 2006 Concordia Twilight.
