2010 (Junior)
Eric Lund ran three personal best during the 2010 season... broke his previous best of 8.02 in the 60-meter hurdles at the Bill Bergan Invitational... lowered the time once more at the Nebraska Tune-Up with a time of 7.99... became the 12th Husker in school history to run below eight second in the 60 hurdles... ran both the 110- and 400-meter hurdles during the outdoor season... posted a wind-aided best time of 14.14 (+2.5) at the Texas Tech Dual in the 110 hurdles... started with a personal-best time of 51.52 and lowered it four time... dropped the time to 51.04 at the Nebraska Open... earned his first individual Big 12 honor with a seventh-place finish (51.34) in the 400 hurdles at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships... ended the year with an 18th-place showing the 400 hurdles at the NCAA West Regional.

 

2009 (Sophomore)

Lund continued to make progress with return trips to the Big 12 Outdoor Championships and NCAA Midwest Regional in the 400-meter hurdles, while also regionally qualifying for the first time in the 110-meter hurdles... focused on the 400-meter dash and 60-meter hurdles during the indoor season... cleared a then-personal best of 8.02 in the 110 hurdles during the preliminaries of the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational... ran below 49 seconds in the 400 meters for the first time in his career at the Nebraska Tune-Up with a time of 48.98... opened the outdoor season by posting regional-qualifying times of 14.18 and 52.23 at the Baldy Castillo Invitational in the 110-meter and 400-meter hurdles, respectively...  helped break the previous 4x110-shuttle hurdle relay school record of 55.12 at the Penn Relays with a time of 54.90... ran a season-best time of 51.59 in the 400 hurdles at the Nebraska Quad... placed 10th in the 400 hurdles and 13th in the 110 hurdles at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships... ended the year with a 16th-place showing at the NCAA Midwest Regional.

 

2008 (Redshirt Freshman)

Lund hit five personal bests and earned a trip the NCAA Midwest Regional in his first year competing for the Big Red... ran personal-best times in the 600 yards (1:13.91) and 800 meters (2:00.05) to start the indoor season at the Holiday Inn Invitational... finished first in the 600 meters one week later at the NWU Invitational, running a personal best of 1:23.32... posted a then-personal best of 49.91 in the preliminaries of the 400-meter dash at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational... focused on the 400-meter hurdles during the outdoor season... won the Hastings Bronco Relays (54.46) and Nebraska Open (52.62)... ran a then-personal-best time of 51.52 in the preliminaries of the Big 12 Outdoor Championships, finishing ninth... finished the year with a 10th-place finish at the NCAA Midwest Regional (51.89).

 

2007 (Freshman)

Lund redshirted both the indoor and outdoor seasons in 2007... used his redshirt season to make the transition to collegiate running... competed unattached in four indoor meets with personal bests of 50.12 in the 400 meters at the Prairie Wolf Invitational and 1:15.11 in the 600 yards at the adidas Classic... outdoors, he ran his fastest time (51.69) in the 400-meter hurdles at the Nebraska Invitational... placed sixth in the 400-meter hurdles at the USA Junior Championships (52.18).

 

Before Nebraska (Milford HS)

Lund was coached by Marty Hingst in the prep ranks at Milford High School... was a three-year qualifier for the Nebraska Class B state meet... finished runner-up as a senior in the 2006 Class B races in both the 110- (14.87) and 300-meter hurdles (38.76)... set Milford school records in the 110-meter hurdles (14.5) and 400-meter dash (50.3) during his senior season... finished third as a junior in the 300-meter hurdles at the state meet with his personal-best and school-record time of 38.61... also earned fourth place in the triple jump (43-11)... competed at state in both hurdle events as a sophomore in 2004, but did not score in either event... was a member of the National Honor Society.
