2007 First-Team Freshman All-Big 12 Football (The Sporting News)



2008 (Freshman)

Anthony Blue, also a cornerback on the Husker football team, competed in the 60 and 200 meters during six meets of the indoor season... ran an indoor personal best of 7.12 in the 60 meters at the NWU Invite to finish fifth... tied for sixth place with an indoor personal-best time of 22.48 in the 200 meters at the Prairie Wolf Invitational... missed the entire outdoor season after suffering an ACL tear during spring football workouts.

 

Before Nebraska (Cedar Hill HS)

Blue qualified for the UIL Texas 5A State Track and Field Championships three times for Coach Sandra Mitchell... anchored the Cedar Hill 4x400-meter relay to a second-place finish in 2007, which was the nation’s fifth-fastest time of the year (3:12.96)... also led off the 4x100-meter relay that finished in sixth place (41.43)... finished eighth in the 5A 200-meter dash as a junior... ran the lead-off leg for the 2005 5A 4x200-meter relay that placed sixth as a sophomore.
