2010 (Junior)
Amanda Latsch competed in seven meets for the Huskers during the indoor season in the shot put... recorded a season-best mark of 48-7 1/4 at the Nebraska Tune-Up... missed All-Big 12 honors by one spot at the Big 12 Championships with a ninth-place throw of 47-8 1/2... hit personal bests in both the shot put and discus during the outdoor season... improved her previous best of 50-0 in the shot with a throw of 50-8 at the Nebraska Open... placed sixth at the conference outdoor meet in the discus with a toss of 161-3... topped her previous best of 159-8.

2009 (Sophomore)

Latsch produced two top-10 finishes in the shot put during the indoor season... opened the year with a season-best toss of 45-6 1/4 at the Conference Challenge to place fifth... continued to compete in the shot during the outdoor season, while also adding the discus... produced back-to-back top-three finishes in the discus at the Nebraska Quad (3rd) and Concordia Twilight (2nd)... finished 11th in both events at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships... threw a then-personal best of 50-0 at the NCAA Midwest Regional to place 10th.

 

2008 (Redshirt Freshman)

Latsch produced top-10 finishes in the shot put at seven of her nine indoor meets... earned the first victory of her collegiate career at the adidas Classic with a throw of 48-10 1/4... tied for 13th at the Big 12 Indoor Championships... posted a then-personal-best indoor toss at the Nebraska Last Chance with a throw of 50-7 1/2... finished third in the shot three times during the outdoor season at the Jim Click Shootout (48-11 3/4), John Jacobs Invitational (47-7 1/4) and Nebraska Open (47-4 1/2)... finished ninth at the Big 12 Championships with a throw of 49-2 1/2.

 

2007 (Freshman)

Latsch redshirted her first season at Nebraska... competed unattached in five indoor and three outdoor meets... notched an indoor shot put season best of 43-11 1/4 at the Holiday Inn Invitational... outdoors, had her best shot put throw of 45-4 1/2 at the Nebraska Invitational... posted a season best in the discus at the Nebraska Wesleyan Invitational with a throw of 137-2.

 

Before Nebraska (Lincoln East HS)

Latsch arrived at Nebraska with excellent potential in the throws following a prep career as a five-time medalist at the Nebraska Class A state meet... won the 2006 Class A shot put with a mark of 45-5 for her first state title... also finished runner-up in the discus (126-0)... earned the Class A bronze medal in the shot as both a sophomore in 2004 (41-10 1/2) and a freshman in 2003 (38-11 1/2)... placed fourth as a junior in 2005 (40-8 3/4)... threw 139-11 in the discus to win the 2006 Class A-1 district title... coached by John Gingery and Ed McPherren... chose Nebraska over Iowa State.
