2005: Jessie Graff finished 10th in the pole vault (12-1 1/2) at the Big 12 Indoor Championships before struggling with illness during the outdoor campaign... began her indoor season strong with a runner-up finish (12-9 1/2) at the Holiday Inn Invitational... won gold at the adidas Classic with an NCAA provisional-qualifying height of 12-11 1/2... also took first place at the Prairie Wolf Invitational (12-6 1/4)... finished second at the Northern Iowa Invitational (12-5 1/2)... cleared opening height only once outdoors, when she finished ninth at the Texas Relays with a regional-qualifying vault of 12-5 1/2. 2004: Graff experienced a successful first year with Nebraska, winning silver in the women’s pole vault with a height of 13-5 3/4 at the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships... tied teammate Jenny Green’s Nebraska indoor school record leap of 13-9 1/4 to win the KSU Open and set the Ahearn Field House record... finished fourth in the Big 12 Outdoor Championships with a height of 13-1 1/2... tied for fourth place in the Jim Click Shootout, clearing 12-8 to open the outdoor season... won silver in the K.T. Woodman Classic (13-0)... won the Nebraska Quadrangular with an Ed Weir Track Stadium record jump of 13-8 1/4, her career-best vault outdoors... won gold in the Nebraska Wesleyan Twilight (13-4)... finished 11th in her first appearance as a Husker at the NCAA Indoor Championships, clearing 12-11 1/2... won silver at the Big 12 Indoor Championships with a height of 13-1 1/2... placed second in her first meet for NU, clearing 13-1 3/4 at the Pole Vault Summit... was second in the Panther Open (13-1 1/2) and the Tiger Classic (12-11 1/2)... won silver and tied Green with the then-second-best mark in the country at 13-8 1/2 at the adidas Classic. Georgia Tech: Graff came to Nebraska from Georgia Tech, where she finished 16th in the pole vault (12-5 1/2) at the 2003 NCAA Indoor Championships... cleared a then-personal-best 13-2 1/2 at the Virginia Tech Last Chance Meet for a first-place finish... broke the Georgia Tech school record (12-9 1/2) in the pole vault in her first indoor meet of the season at the Kentucky Invitational... finished third at the 2003 USA Junior Nationals with a vault of 12-7 1/2. High School: Was a four-time Maryland state champion in the pole vault... was the 2002 Maryland Class 3A champion outdoors (11-7) and won indoor Class 3A-2A pole vault championships in 2002 (11-9), 2001 (10-6) and 2000 (11-1)... still holds the Maryland outdoor state meet record at 11-7 by finishing second with the same mark as the champion at the 2002 meet... tied the Penn Relays high school record at 12-7 1/4 when she finished second with the same mark as the champion in the 2002 meet... finished fifth at the 2002 USA Junior Nationals with a vault of 12-1 1/2... won the 2001 Young Women’s AAU Junior Olympic Nationals (11-10 3/4)... placed third at the 2002 adidas High School Outdoor Track and Field Championships (12-4 1/2)... competed for the Frederick Gymnastic Club for six years and won the Level A Maryland state championship on bars... was a member of the National Honor Society.
