2005: Bryce Dickmeyer redshirted during the indoor season before returning to competition for the Huskers outdoors... finished ninth in the 5,000 meters at the Emporia State Relays (16:20.13)... competed in the 3,000 meters while sick at the John Jacobs Invite... competed unattached indoors in the 3,000 at the Husker Invite (9:01.82) and the 5,000 at the Prairie Wolf Invite (15:24.31). 2004: Dickmeyer competed for NU indoors before redshirting during the outdoor season... claimed silver in the indoor mile with a personal-best time of 4:27.47 at the season-opening Panther Open... his 5,000-meter time of 15:10.42 at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational was his career-best... ran his only 3,000-meter race at the adidas Classic in a personal-low time of 8:43.04. High School: Dickmeyer placed third and fourth in the 3,200 and 1,600 meters, respectively, at the 2003 Nebraska Class A Championships with times of 9:32.58 and 4:21.80... notched a personal-best time of 9:29.56 in the 3,200 meters at the 2003 Omaha North Invitational... qualified for the state meet as a sophomore and junior but did not place... graduated cum laude with high distinction from Fremont High School and is in the honors program at Nebraska.
