2004: Senior Authea Chambers has exhausted her outdoor eligibility and will compete only indoors in 2005... participated in her first individual event at an NCAA Championships, finishing 12th in the long jump with a wind-aided leap of 20-3 1/2... also competed in the triple jump, recording a wind-aided mark of 41-1 3/4 to finish 24th in the preliminaries... finished fifth in the triple jump (43-5 3/4w) at the NCAA Midwest Regional... was seventh in the long jump with a career-best leap of 20-9 3/4... was seventh in the long jump at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships (20-2 1/2w) and eighth in the triple jump (41-1 1/2w)... won bronze in the Texas Relays Section B triple jump with a mark of 40-8 3/4... finished fifth at the Big 12 Indoor Championships in the triple jump (41-5 3/4) and seventh in the long jump (19-9 1/2)... won the 200 meters in a personal-best 24.72 at the Prairie Wolf Invitational. 2003: Chambers capped a solid season by competing at the 2003 NCAA Outdoor Championships as a member of the Husker 4x100-meter relay team... took fourth place at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships with a season-best leap of 20-5 3/4 in the long jump... took eighth in the triple jump at the NCAA Regional meet with a leap of 42-2 3/4... finished fourth in the triple jump at the Big 12 Indoor Championships with a leap of 42-1 1/4 and was sixth in the long jump with a mark of 19-6... won silver in the 60-meter dash (7.53) and bronze in the triple jump (40-10 1/2) at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational... was third in the long and triple jumps at the Holiday Inn Invitational. 2002: Chambers had five top-eight finishes at the Big 12 Indoor and Outdoor Championships... ran a lifetime-best time of 11.84 in the 100-meter dash in the outdoor conference championship prelims and finished eighth in the finals with a wind-aided time of 12.13... set a season-best outdoor long jump with her leap of 19-8 1/4 against Kansas State, Oregon and Wyoming... ran to her season-best time in the 60-meter dash (7.59) during the indoor season at the Big 12 Championships in the semifinals... finished eighth in the 60-meter dash finals at the conference meet as a result of an injury... took eighth in the long jump at the Big 12 Indoor Championships with a mark of 18-7 3/4. 2001: Finished sixth in the triple jump at the Big 12 Outdoor meet with a mark of 40-1 1/2... recorded a season-best mark of 41-5 3/4 in the triple jump at the Kansas Relays... redshirted indoors. High School: Was the 2000 Jamaican girls triple jump champion (40-9 3/4)... finished second in the triple jump (41-1) and third in the long jump (19-7) at the 2000 Jamaican Junior Championships... was the triple jump champion in the 2000 Carifta Games with a personal-best mark of 42-6... member of the 2000 Jamaican World Junior Team... finished sixth in the triple jump (41-8 3/4) at the Jamaican National Championships.
