Before Nebraska (Polytechnic Institute)

Kendall Bacchus (pronounced Back-us) joins the Huskers as an accomplished sprinter from the Polytechnic Institute in Diamond Vale, Trinidad & Tobago... won the 100- and 200-meter dashes at the 2009 Trinidad & Tobago Secondary School’s National Track and Field Championships with a season-best time of 10.44 in the 100 meters and a personal-best time of 21.13 in the 200 meters... owns a personal best of 10.32 in the 100 meters, which would rank seventh on the NU all-time outdoor performance list, won the 2009 Big 12 outdoor title and placed eighth at the NCAA Outdoor Championships... finished third in the 200 meters with a personal-best wind-aided time of 20.78 at the 2008 Carifta Games in Basseterre, St. Kitts, and placed fourth in the 100 meters with a time of 10.60... competed at the 2008 IAAF World Junior Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland.
